Dr. Andrew Henninger is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama School of Dentistry and is very excited to move back to North Alabama. He grew up in a small town in Tennessee before attending the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2002. While at UAH he earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and played on the UAH men’s soccer team four 4 years (his favorite soccer team is Manchester United). After undergrad, he began his first career as an engineer and spent eight years working on various contracts supporting the Army and the Missile Defense Agency.
In 2012, shortly after serving on a dental mission trip in Haiti, Dr. Henninger decided to change careers. “I saw a profession where I could meet a need for others and get to interact with people on a personal level every day!” He has since been on two additional trips out of country as well as serving in the local community while in dental school, and he plans to continue this type of service work throughout his dental career.
Dr. Henninger is married and has a son, Jacob (1), and a newborn baby boy named Charlie! His wife, Julie, grew up in Madison, graduated from Bob Jones High School and received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University (War Eagle!). They are members of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Madison.
